The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M hit the market in 1993, and immediately began its journey towards becoming a modern legend in the watch world as well as among sports stars, explorers and fictional spies. With clean lines, the characteristic wave-grooved dial and helium crown at 10 o'clock, and the robust 5-segment steel link, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M took its place with a design that stood out among divers' watches, while delivering more than desirable functionality for professionals in extreme conditions.
In 1995, an Omega Seamaster Diver 300M (quartz) was worn for the first time by James Bond in the film GoldenEye. To date, James Bond has worn Omega watches in nine films.
