Finding a pair of jeans with a perfect fit requires care, patience and some background knowledge. Which fit you should choose depends partly on body type, but above all on your taste preference. Usually, jeans models are divided into slim fit, tapered fit, straight fit and relaxed fit. This is also how we have divided the categories at Care of Carl - so that you can easily sort through the different jean fits. We help you choose the perfect jeans below.
Some general aspects to consider when choosing jeans:
• Fit: Think about whether you want a slim, tapered, straight or relaxed fit. We measure all our jeans and write the measurements in our size charts.
• Waist: Do you prefer a low, regular or high waist? In our fit description on the product, we always write this information.
• Wash: Which denim wash do you want: light, dark, black or raw denim? In all the examples below, the jeans have a medium dark wash.

Straight leg

Straight fit jeans are exactly as they sound, a straight fit, where the knee, leg and leg opening are not narrowed to the same extent as on a pair of slim or tapered jeans. A pair of straight fit jeans is the classic original model that debuted in the sixties. Straight fit jeans are a versatile, pairing well with both a T-shirt and a blazer.
