Fracap
Fracap was founded in 1908 by Antonio Cappello in Monteroni, a small town in southern Italy where production still takes place today. It all began with the manufacturing of work shoes and boots for local farmers. In the 1940s, when his sons Alfredo and Giovanni took over the business, the company received its current name – Fracap – a combination of the words Fratelli Cappello, the Cappello brothers.
Today, the company is run by the third generation of the family. Fracap specializes in shoes made from vegetable-tanned Italian leather, crafted from a single piece for enhanced durability and shape retention. Both the construction and stitching techniques are based on models developed for the Italian army, with a focus on comfort, stability, and longevity. The brand combines traditional craftsmanship with functional solutions in a distinctly Italian design language.
