The preppy style originates from the North American East Coast and the once so-called "preparatory schools", where well-to-do young people attended before continuing on to the Ivy League Universities. A style that over time has become extremely popular and very versatile. For those who are looking for an everyday style where the garment type and quality set the level, rather than big logos and brands, preppy style will be a good friend. Bill" which in 1944 allowed ex-servicemen to attend the prestigious universities after serving their country. Khaki-coloured uniform trousers began to be worn with items such as blazers, shirts, and boat shoes.
