Har inte hunnit gå in dessa handgjorda kängor än, men första intrycket är mycket bra. Det råder inget tvivel om att skorna är handbyggda av erfarna, skickliga och pedantiska skomakare med gesällbrev. Tricker´s är hovleverantörer för H.M. King Charles III himself, och det märks. De har en tyngd och mustig doft av kvalitetsläder som får mustaschen att vibrera av vällust. De är en bra motvikt till mitt stora och aningen för tunga kranium, och sänker min medeltyngpunkt med ca femtio centimeter. De är robust byggda för att klara en kronhjortsjakt i fuktig vildmarksterräng, och samtidigt smäckra och stiliga nog för att användas vid europeiska kröningar. Vad mer kan en väderbiten man begära? De känns bra nog att bli begravd i, efter ett långt våldsamt whiskeymarinerat liv. Storleksmässigt kan jag meddela att 45:orna känns bra. Jag har storlek 45 som standard för de flesta skodon. Hade säkert funkat med storlek 44,5 också, men jag föredrar en luftig sko som ger utrymme för mina långa aptår att röra sig fritt utan känslor av klaustrofobi. Jag är nöjd med köpet.
