Walker Slater

Tweed specialist Walker Slater was founded in the Scottish Highlands in 1989, by Paul Walker and Frances Slater. The marque works closely with Harris Tweed to develop exquisite, lightweight tweed fabrics with the common goal of creating attractive, yet practical and robust, clothing.

Walker Slater is passionate about traditional fabrics and production techniques, not least when it comes to tweed. Tweed is a woven woollen fabric hailing from the British Isles, identifiable by its characteristically coarse texture and rustic feel. The fabric is often woven in a herringbone pattern or with a square weave.
