Three ways to dress in a warm city

Embrace warm days in the city in clothes which harmonise with the surroundings. Think lightweight fabrics, sunglasses and accessories, all together with the correct shoes. We give you three examples below.

Sunny days where you are not already down on the beach, but rather in the middle of a big city, the right attire can lift the experience to new heights. Adjust the activity and outfit to the temperature. Of course, shorts are an acceptable option. A good thing to keep in mind, however, is that bare legs sometimes inhibit the chance for many of the big city's exciting experiences, such as bars, restaurants and some formal shops, where shorts are not seen as suitable clothing. Sunglasses are just as important here as on the beach, and its perfect when the sun is a little too powerful. Think as well that long sleeved shirts can be rolled-up and some shoes can be worn without socks, for a more breathable and summer feel.

People watching with an espresso

Warm days in the shadow of a parasol at an outdoor bar or restaurant can create unforgettable and exciting moments. Enjoy the day with a good hat, whilst sipping an espresso or a chilled glass of Prosecco. Don’t forget that the espresso is intended to be drunk in one go, a maximum of two very soon after serving. The undersigned can attest to grumpy Milanese waiters who insultingly snatched a cooled espresso from the customer in their eyes, and meaningfully returned to the table with a bubbly americano.

Urban explorer, going picnic

It is easy to let warm days mean short sleeves. Even in the city it is a good idea to cover your arms from the sun. Linen is cooling and allows slight, cooling wind to come through the fabric. Rolled-up sleeves and a nice watch is the quintessential summer style.
