Three Looks for 2021's Christmas Parties
For many of us, this year will see the welcome return of Christmas parties - occasions where you want to look, and feel, your best. Below, we present three looks perfect for socialising with friends, family, and colleagues this festive season.

Christmas parties are all about enjoying each other’s company, preferably over drinks and a good meal. While choosing the right outfit depends largely on the situation and your own personal style, we can all agree that Christmas parties offer the perfect excuse to get dressed up. By way of inspiration, we have composed three looks that add an extra dash of style to the festivities, without feeling overly formal or stuffy.

A suit is always a safe bet for occasions such as Christmas parties, but to make it a bit more interesting, we have selected a model in dark green corduroy. Add a black turtleneck jumper, and you have a combination that exudes timeless elegance all while feeling less formal (and more comfortable) than a shirt and tie.

If wearing a full suit feels a bit excessive, a single-breasted blazer worn with a pair of flannel trousers makes an excellent alternative. Knitwear once again makes an appearance in this second ensemble, in the form of a long sleeve, knitted polo shirt. We think the addition of a pair of chunky, black brogues makes a more striking impression with this outfit than the traditional black Oxford shoe. As a final, subtly festive, touch, we have chosen to complement this ensemble with a burgundy pocket square.

Instead of choosing a full tuxedo, with all that it entails, try just wearing part of one. Here, the tuxedo jacket in black velvet blends seamlessly with the other elements of this black, tone-on-tone ensemble where we combine a crew neck, merino wool jumper with jeans and a pair of classic Chelsea boots.
