Tailoring Services by Care of Carl

We are now launching Tailoring Services by Care of Carl – an exclusive service built on a selection of custom-made suits, produced on demand. With this service, your new suit can take shape from scratch in a few simple steps.

Five models

We offer five models designed by us in different styles:

Formal: An unstructured suit with two-button fastening. The suit is half-lined, has rounded lapels and flaps over the pockets. An all-round suit that is suitable for all occasions and as a strong base in most wardrobes.

Casual: An unstructured suit with a single button. The suit is unlined, has rounded lapels and outer pockets. The suit is suitable for everyday life, work and parties when you want a slightly lighter and more casual fit.

Double Breasted: An unstructured double-breasted suit with six buttons. The suit is unlined, has wide, pointed lapels and outer pockets. The suit is suitable for parties and weddings as well as for work when you are looking for a more dashing appearance.

Elegance: A half-canvas suit with a button placket. The suit is half-lined, has wide rounded lapels and external pockets. The suit is suitable for work, parties and weddings when you want the details to be just right.

Tuxedo: A half-canvas suit with a single button. The suit is semi-lined, has wide, pointed lapels and welted pockets. The suit is suitable for weddings and occasions with a clear dress code.

How it works:

1. Take our suit questionnaire or start building your own suit.
   
2. The questionnaire performs an analysis and a size analysis that gives you answers guiding you to the approximate size that should fit you best. These two fits are sent to you in a sample box so you can compare in peace and quiet. You will also receive fabric samples and a guide to help you choose model, size and fabric.
3. Read the post How the suit should fit or book an appointment with our style advisors if you want advice on fitting.
4. You then send back the sample box, you can continue building your suit by choosing the model, fit, fabric and colour in the size that suited you best.
5. When you have finished building your suit, checkout as usual and your suit will start to be constructed. You will have it at home after around 3-4 weeks.
6. If any alterations are required, you take the suit to your local tailor, who can alter the suit as you require. You can then send us a copy of the receipt and we will reimburse you for expenses up to €120.
