About Spontini
Spontini was introduced by Louis Vuitton in the late 1990s and takes its name from rue Spontini in the sixteenth arrondissement of Paris. It is a compact, structured handbag in Monogram canvas with a rigid base, twin handles and a detachable shoulder strap – one of few classic models to combine the two.
The proportions make it as easy to carry in the hand as on the shoulder. Spontini is no longer in production and has become a well-liked vintage model with an elegant everyday format.
