About Dior
-
Christian Dior, one of the world's most prestigious fashion houses, has since its foundation in 1946 been a symbol of glamour, elegance and haute couture. The French fashion designer and tailor Christian Dior quickly gained attention for his first collection which became known as "The New Look". The collection was characterised by an artistic aesthetic with a focus on silhouettes and innovative design concepts that challenged the fashion world. Dior has since continued in the same vein and today manufactures clothes and bags that bear a part of their haute couture heritage.

About Saddle
The Saddle was designed by John Galliano and made its debut in Dior's spring 2000 collection – a saddle-shaped silhouette with the distinctive D stirrup charm that quickly became an it-bag around the turn of the millennium. Withdrawn from production, it was relaunched in 2018 by Maria Grazia Chiuri and became a modern icon once again.
The Saddle family today also includes belt bags, pouches and smaller formats, often in the house's Oblique jacquard or smooth calfskin. Depending on the version, the bag is carried in the hand, on the shoulder or crossbody. Few models capture both Y2K nostalgia and contemporary fashion like the Dior Saddle.
