About Common Projects
Italian leather, a clean design language and a devotion to minimalism in its purest form: the American Common Projects label is something of the Apple of the sneaker world.
In their quest to create the perfect sneaker, creative consultant Flavio Girolami and art director Prathan Poopat decided to join forces in 2004 and together establish Common Projects. Soon after, the label launched its first sneaker model, dubbed Achilles - a stripped-back model with clean lines and no form of logo, the only clue to its origins being the article number, size and colour printed on the heel.
