When visiting New York, Diego happened upon a simply constructed driving shoe, and an idea began to take shape. Upon his return to Italy, he set about establishing what would become the intertnationally-renowned driving shoe specialist Tod's. The brand is perhaps most closely associated with the soft and supple Gommino model, a particular favourite of Italian businessman and style icon Giovanni Agnelli. -
