The Valstarino has been a long standing product with us, the jacket’s versatility is one of the main reasons why it is as popular today as it was when it was introduced nearly 100 years ago. We will give you some advice below.

Published 2022-01-10Italy’s Valstar have made premium jackets for over 100 years, and despite a wide range of outstanding garments, they are best known for their Valstarino from 1935: a modern interpretation of the traditional A-1 flying jacket. The popularity and long-standing ability of the jacket can be attributed to the craftsmanship and the exclusive materials used. However, it is the well thought out, easy design that has allowed the jacket to become a timeless, versatile garment that has existed for nearly 100 years. We believe that a Valstarino can be introduced to most wardrobes, no matter style or preferences. We will give you some advice below.

If your style already leans towards the more classic and elegant side, then this jacket will fit naturally together with an Italian cashmere jumper and soft suede shoes in mellow colours. The Valstarino jacket is a cornerstone of the traditional Anglo-Italian wardrobe.

If your wardrobe is filled with selvedge denim and loop wheeled sweaters, then there is still hope. We gather inspiration from movie icons such as Marlon Brando and Steve McQueen, two men who more or less lived in their leather jackets.

If you have a taste for the good things in life, including the luxury goods from the historic fashion cities: Milan and Paris, do not despair. Valstarino even feels at home surrounding light, exclusive material with its sharp cuts and well-thought-out design. We recommend the dark blue design for a more discreet yet stylish look.
