About Cartier
-
A Cartier watch is as highly valued as the jewellery the brand is mainly known for. Cartier is truly one of the few jewellers who have achieved full respect in the watch world.
The earliest and most significant model is the Cartier Tank, which was designed as early as 1917, and reached the market in 1919 in a series of 6 designs. Cartier watch men is one of the most searched watch related phrases online. -

About Tank
Founder Louis Cartier created the Cartier Tank in 1917. The design was inspired by the lines of the French tank Renault FT-17. The first prototype of the Cartier Tank was given to US General John Pershing in 1918. Today, the Cartier Tank is the design house's most significant watch model, and over the years it has been designed in variants such as the Cartier Tank Solo, Tank Americaine and Tank Basculante. The Cartier Tank Asymétrique is diamond-shaped and its dial is rotated 30 degrees clockwise in the case.
Although the Cartier Tank may appear small and discreet, both men and women have worn it with equal enthusiasm since its inception in 1918. A Cartier Tank is therefore the perfect gift of love for a loved one, as well as a stylishly discreet alternative for the watch wearer who feels they do not need a big heavy watch on their arm.
