Published 2022-06-28
How and what you should pack for your weekend trip is of course dependant on where you are travelling, the reason, and what activities you have planned. Plan your outfits in advance in a spacious weekend bag with a stable base, and let the essentials be easily accessible at the top. By rolling the garments up, you reduce the risk of your garments getting wrinkled. We will show you a well-thought-out and versatile set of clothes, and how you best pack them in your weekend bag.
• Fold the blazer along the vertical line down the back, and then fold twice, or roll.
• Place the blazer over the shoes and trousers, in one of the bags outer edges.
• A suit can be replaced by an overshirt and a pair of jeans. If you have room and need, take both with you.
Remember: A suit isn’t as delicate as you think, a good suit won’t obtain much winkling just by folding.
• Fold T-shirts twice and role together.
• Fold sweaters in the same way (if you choose a sweater made from a knitted material, be more careful, making sure not to stretch the garment.)
• Place above the trousers.
• For extra fine shirts, you can place a book or a magazine on the back and use as a template whilst folding.
• Travel size bags save both space and makes it easier if you’re travelling on the plane.
• Place the wash bag on the other side, where you now have some space left over. The wash bag will then be easily to get hold of if you need it during your travels.
• Place your electronic items such as earphones and chargers in a smaller compartment, so they are easy to grab.
We wish you good luck with your packing, and a wonderful trip!
Plan your packing
Choose a spacious weekend bag for your travels, suitable for two to three nights. Plan your day-by-day outfits. The optimal packing consists of garments and accessories that can all be combined in an interchangeable way. This includes the clothes that you wear whilst on your travels to the destination. You need an extra pair of shoes to vary with, if you just use one pair, then the shoes won’t have time to dry between uses. Choose a pair of comfortable sneakers to travel in, and adjust the comfort of your travel clothes based on how you travel and what you need to wear when you arrive. The perfect start to your holiday.Pack a solid foundation
• Pack heavy things at the bottom of your bag.
• Place shoes at the bottom of the bags outer edges to get a solid foundation. Remember a dust bag for the shoes, to avoid contact with the other garments.
• Pack underwear, socks and belts in your shoes to save space, and to allow the shoes to keep their shape.
• Fold trousers twice lengthways and role together. Place them at the base, next to the shoes.
• A pair of blue jeans and beige chinos (together with suit trousers) are a good choice and can be interchanged with each other during your trip.

Travelling tips
Take another fabric bag or a light rucksack, if you for example are going to the beach for the day. You can then use it for dirty laundry. Don’t forget to save some extra room in the weekend bag for eventual purchases on route. We wish you good luck with your packing, and a wonderful trip!
