Which garments can be repaired?
Patagonia's state that everything that can be repaired, can be repaired.
For hygienic reasons, only clean items are accepted for repair. Garments such as underwear, socks, swimwear, gloves, hats, shorts and undergarments cannot be repaired.
In some cases, other garments can also be irreparable, examples of this are jackets with extensive damage where the inner lining has come off.

Can I physically return my garment for repair?
Care of Carl does not currently offer the option of dropping-off your garment directly to us. However, Patagonia offers repairs in its physical stores in the following cities: Stockholm, Berlin, Amsterdam, Munich and Milan. Please note that when repairing at one of Patagonia's stores, the process is completely handled by them, and their specific conditions for repair apply.

Will the repair be visible on the garment?
For repairs, Patagonia strives to match new material as closely as possible to the existing, although sometimes this is not possible, especially for older garments where the fabric may have changed or expired.
Even if the garment doesn't return to its original condition, its functionality is preserved, without the need for further consumption. -
How does the process work?

- You will receive detailed instructions on how to send your garment to us at Care of Carl.
- We ensure that the garment is sent to Patagonia, where it is repaired by the brand's own specialists.
- Once the repair is complete, we will ship your product back to you, ready to use again.
The estimated time for repair and shipping is 6-8 weeks, but this may vary depending on factors such as season and the extent of the repair.
